Live A Fulfilled Life!

You have the power to break through and live your life to the fullest. It’s your choice to take action now.  Start with a clean slate, take a chance, make a choice, Why? Because you deserve it.

There are 3 C’s in life, Choice, Chance and Change. “You must make a Choice to take a Chance or your life will never Change.

If you want a change in your life you need to choose to just go for something you want, instead of whatever life has given you.

Steve Jobs once said, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.  Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.  Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”

You are destined for greatness, but unless you make a choice to change your life, you’re never going to know.

You need to accept the fact that when you do decide to go for your dreams, there might be failures and naysayers. So you need to step away from the crowd and create your own path in life.  There will be failures, but that’s just part of the process, just like growing up, only then they called them, growing pains.

The founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, said: “I could accept failing, But I could not accept not trying… and never knowing what if.”

If you ever stop going for your dreams, how will you ever know if they would have become real?

All of us want a life that is magical, magnificent and one of fulfillment.  But many of us think that a magnificent life is something that happens, as if it is something done to us without us doing anything at all.  We think that a life of fulfillment is something reserved only for the lucky ones.  We can all have a life full of memorable moments and happiness regardless of our circumstances. You just have to believe it and want it.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away!”

Understand that when you feel dissatisfaction, that it is really the first step to a better life.  It is nature’s way of saying that there is something better out there for you, you just need to go out and find it.  Without hate, we would not know love.  Without tiredness, we would not know what energy felt like.  Without Darkness, we would not know how beautiful the sun is. Any champion will tell you that you must experience pain and discomfort along the way in order to achieve a great life. Accept that the pain is here to serve you and start looking at what the first step is you can take to make a change.

One way to feel great about your life, is look for more things to smile about in it.  No matter what it is or what happens to you, just SMILE.  You’ll be amazed at how much a smile can change your attitude and change the way others look at you.

 

Peace Begins With A Smile!

begin with a smileMother Teresa said: “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing”. “Peace begins with a Smile!”

Treat each day as if in order to survive, you must always be happy. This will not only affect your life, but all the lives around you.

Think back to when you did the most smiling, when you didn’t have to think so much about just surviving. Awwww, the years of being a child again, no problems and running around with nothing but a smile on your face.happy baby

What happened to all that smiling once we became an adult? As a child we we’re able to forgive quickly, not get so frustrated over the small things, enjoy the simple things in life and never take them for granted. We never held grudges against someone, because we would rather have fun playing with them.

I believe we were not put here on this earth to be miserable and live in survival mode every day. Sure, as an adult we face obstacles and challenges every day, but we need to learn to grow from them, not become negative because of them.

Our emotions become contagious to the people around us, whether it’s our family, friends, or strangers. We need to stay happy so that others will become effected by it. We’re only on this beautiful earth for a short time, we need to seize each and every day in an abundance of happiness.

From now on, when you wake up each morning, don’t be angry or sad, the day has just begun, BE HAPPY! Spring out of bed and hit the floor running like you did as a child. Make your new day a fun game, then the next day, play it again!

Life comes at you head on and very, very fast, when it does you have to be ready for it. Before you know it your day will be done, your week will be done and another year will be over. Your children will have children and your time on earth will come to an end as we know it.

big smilesI don’t know about you, but I plan on staying as happy as can be until that day comes for me. I know there will be bad days, sad days, negative days, and many obstacles, but that doesn’t mean that I have to accept them. Even with the loss of a child and having breast cancer,  I choose to play the game of life to it’s fullest in survival happiness with smiles for every one. How about You?

4 Tips On Staying Positive!

bright sideOne: When something bad happens, take a deep breath, don’t overreact and then think about what the worst outcome could be. Think of the bright side of what happened. Believe it or not there always is a bright side, whether you think so at the time or not.

Albert Einstein said: “In the middle of every difficulty, lies opportunity.”

Two: Realize how bad you feel when you are having negative feelings. Is it really worth it? Now realize how awesome you feel and how beautiful life really looks when you are having positive feelings. I know it’s hard sometimes to go from feeling bad to feeling good, but it can be done. The best way to change your feelings is to think of something that makes you happy and then go there in your mind.

Three: The worst thing you can ever do, is to watch all the garbage that is going on in the news, whether it is on the television or in the news paper. It’s ok to know what is going on in the world, but don’t indulge yourself in it, especially when it is negative. All that does is make you feel worse and think that there is never going to be an end to all the bad stuff happening to you. Instead of listening or reading bad news, read a motivational book, or watch a comedy. You will be surprised at how your feelings will change, when you sit there and laugh until you cry at a funny movie.

Four: Most of all, stay away from negative people and situations. The last thing you need when you’re feeling down is someone else that is down. Get around up beat happy people. When I had to go through my radiation treatments for my breast cancer, the staff was the most inspiring, upbeat, and happy people I have ever come across.  What a difference it made having to go through radiation every day.

It really can be hard staying positive in such a negative world. But, if you really open your eyes and your heart, there is a million to one in positive energy versus negative energy around you, if you let it in!positive energy

Scientists have done research and that if you have at least 5 positive thoughts versus negative thoughts, that it is better for your heart, and immune system. Having a great heart and immune system is a great start in dealing with cancer.

What Is Your Happy?

Some people find happiness in pleasing others, while others find happiness in power and domination.

Some people define their happy as a billion dollars.

Others think the way to happiness and a meaningful life is to get closer to God and give up everything material.

Still others think the ultimate idea of happiness is freedom!

What is your ‘HAPPY’?

I’m taking a positive psychology class, and they say that their are 10 positive emotions. Believe it or not Happy is not one of them. Happy is a broad term that describes a lot of emotions.

The top 10 positive emotions are:

Joy, Gratitude, Serenity, Interest, Hope, Pride, Amusement, Inspiration, Awe and LOVE!

Maybe that’s why they say, “Everyone has a different happy”, because there are so many emotions that make you feel happy!

Positive emotions also have a lot to do with your immune system function, which is why I believe that when dealing with cancer you need to stay positive.  It’s like a nutrient to your body.
