There are so many limitations we put ourselves, just because we think others disapprove of us. We think we’re too tall, too short, too fat, too bald. These things only matter because we think they matter to others. Our self-conscious worries about what other people may think
We become so focused on ourselves that we pick up on the way others react in a negative way. We’re so fearful of a bad reaction from others that we allow negativity to take over.
You need to give yourself approval and allow yourself to be who you want to be. Not look for the approval from others, but from yourself. Your limitations are just in your mind.
If you don’t mind, then other people don’t mind that much either. And if you don’t mind, then you won’t let yourself become a self-imposed road block in your own life.
Mark Twain said, “Age is an issue of mind over matter, If you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter!”
When you let your mind disbelieve of yourself, of your behavior and actions, you wind up being very uncomfortable with yourself and around others. Once you begin to accept yourself, then you become relaxed around others and want to get out and do more.
“A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval,” quoted; Mark Twain
You must approve of yourself, break down that wall of disbelief. That wall is blocking what you really deserve and what you are capable of doing. It may take getting out of your comfort zone, getting out of your own way.
Give yourself approval and allow yourself to be who you want to be. Stop looking for the approval from others and just be yourself. Break down that wall of self doubt and stop sabotaging yourself.
